The Sacrament of Reconciliation

A reminder to all Grade 2 parents and students:  tomorrow is a momentous day!  On Saturday, February 24, 2018 will be First Reconciliation for all students!  Students and at least one parent are expected to meet in the church lobby for 9:30 am.  Please ensure that you and your child arrive on time.  Thank you.


Help Needed!

Next, Saturday, March 3, 2018  we are in need of volunteers to help clear out the storage containers at the front of the church  (the date has been rescheduled to March 3) .  Volunteers are asked to meet Mr. Lorne Ward (our parish's operations manager) in the Jubilee Hall parking area (at the bottom of the stairs) at 9:00 am.  This task should take 2-3 hours.  If you are able to help out please contact Miss Welsh at:

Please note that PPP hours will be given to those families who assist in this task.


Grade 4 PREP Teacher Needed

St. Matthew' Parish Religious Education  Program (PREP) is in need of a Grade 4 teacher.  If you are able to assist, please contact Trish Van Vliet, PREP coordinator at: or 604-589-2448.  This task can count towards PPP hours.

Looking for a good book?  Find it at our Scholastic Book Fair - yes, it's back!!!  During our school's Literacy Week we will also have the Scholastic Book Fair set up in the library.  For more details, please see below:

March 8, 2018:           11:00 am - 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm

Lenten Morning Masses 

Students in Grades 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are asked to attend 8:00 am morning Masses with their classmates.  Please note that parents are most welcome to attend these Masses, too.  Below are a list of scheduled dates for your child's class:
