St. Matthew's Elementary is a faith-based school that emphasizes the importance of home, school and the parish. We work together as a community to bring the children entrusted in our care to walk in the footsteps of Christ.
Staff are dedicated educators who bring their expertise in a variety of areas to nuture and support students' growth in spirituality, academics, athletics and the fine arts. St. Matthew's Elementary staff aims to support parents in raising fine young men and women who are rooted in the spirit of the Gospel. A focus on supporting the whole child and attending to their needs is at the core of our school's mission. Under the leadership of our pastor, Father Tien Tran, this year our school will focus on the archdiocesan theme of: "Care for our Common Home"
Parents are an integral part of life at St. Matthew's Elementary. There are many opportunities for parents and guardians to volunteer in areas such as, supervision, maintenance, athletics and the library; these actions help sustain our school and foster the strong connections between home and school.
Sincerely in Christ,
Ms. Deborah Welsh
