Tuesday, June 28, 2022 marks the last day of school for students. Parents are invited to join us for our last school Mass of the year. It starts at 9:00 am. We will also have a year-end assembly at 11:00 am (held in the school gym). All are welcome! I hope you are all looking forward to spending more time with your children during the upcoming summer holidays!
Please note the last “Update” for this school year will be sent on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 – make sure to look for it, we have a special video that I know you will NOT want to miss!

PANCAKE BREAKFAST
For those that purchased tickets for our pancake breakfast this coming Sunday, a friendly reminder that we will be in the school gym after the 8:30 am and 10:30 am Masses handing out orders. You can take your pre-purchased breakfast to go or you can stay and eat it in the gym.

B.C. LIONS TICKETS
This year we had a virtual field trip with a couple of members of the B.C. Lions football team. They presented the, The FortisBC Energy Champions program. It is a program designed specifically for children in Kindergarten through Grade Seven, emphasizing the importance of environmental responsibility and being an ‘Energy Champion’.
From January through April, the Energy Champions program was presented at 80 elementary schools located throughout the province of British Columbia.
As a thank you the Lions are offering all students a free youth ticket to one of our regular season games in 2022.

EXPERIENCE A WEEKEND AT THE SEMINARY OF CHRIST THE KING!
“Attention young men in grades 6-11: Are you interested in seeing firsthand what the seminary is like? Do you like the thought of a life lived with a blend of prayer, friendship, sports, and learning? Have you ever felt an interest in the priesthood? If so, you are invited to attend an overnight field trip next weekend, Saturday July 2 – Sunday July 3. Fr. Salvino will join you on Saturday afternoon. If you’d like to attend, please send him an email, so he can get you more information. For young women who are interested in exploring the religious life of a Sister, stay posted as Fr. Salvino is coordinating a field trip later this summer!”
Candidates should arrive at Seminary of Christ the King in Mission (34224 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Mission, BC V2V 6Y5) at 8:30AM on Saturday July 2. The Live-In will continue till Sunday @ 1:00 PM. Candidates should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, some good clothes for church and some for sports, as well as a towel, toothbrush etc. Anyone planning to come should contact the seminary by phone 604-826-8715 or email for more information.
