There is definitely a busy buzz in the air at St. Matthew’s! Many things are upcoming including: the first ever Trunk or Treat event tomorrow, Parent-Teacher Interviews on November 4 and our first ever Bazaar and Business fair on November 6.
As we near the end of October let us thank God for allowing us so many opportunities to come together in a true spirit of community!

Join the St. Matthew’s Parish and School community at the TRUNK OR TREAT event tomorrow! This event will happen in the school parking lot between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and it will take place rain or shine! It is going to be a GREAT time will a lot of cool trunks to look at and activities to do! See you tomorrow!

SMES BAZAAR AND BUSINESS EXPO!
Save the date: Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm St. Matthew’s first ever Bazaar and Business Expo! We are so excited for this event. Special features include:
* A treat and beverage for all SMES children when they enter
* 3 Winners for the Colouring contest (sheets went home yesterday) – Prizes include: A Gift Card for Roblox, An Amazon Gift Card and a Guildford Mall Gift Card (must bring colouring sheet to event to be entered)
* A Photo Booth
* A Craft table for Kids
* A Caricature Artist
*Facepainting
* Tables selling food – Cookies, Lee Donuts, Cupcakes, Lumpia and Pork Skewers

REMEMBRANCE DAY
Students have the opportunity to receive a poppy in anticipation of Remembrance Day on November 11, 2022. Students are asked to bring a loonie or toonie to receive a poppy; all funds will go towards supporting our local veteran’s association. Please note we will also hold a Remembrance Day assembly on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 9:00 am; all are welcome to attend.
