TERM 1 PIZZA LUNCHES
Our Grade 6 families are once again organizing Monday Pizza lunches. All proceeds from the lunches go towards their next year’s Outdoor Education experience. We really appreciate all families who take part in this fundraiser. Your eldest child was given a form for Term 1 earlier this week but, if for some reason you can’t find it please click HERE for a handy copy!

TERRY FOX RUN DAY
This year our Terry Fox Run Day will be on Friday, September 23, 2022.
On this day students will learn about the courage and determination of one of our great Canadian heroes: Terry Fox!
They will also engage in a walk/run around the neighbourhood. Thank you to Mr. Durante and the parent organizers who will be running this event.
Please note that on this day students are permitted to come to school in their St. Matthew’s gym shorts, t-shirt and runners (if the weather is wet/cool they can also wear the St. Matthew’s athletic hoody and jogging pants). Parents in Kindergarten your child can wear a dark coloured pair of shorts and their white polo shirt and runners.
Families have the opportunity to donate to the Terry Fox Fund and/or purchase a t-shirt (that can be worn on September 23).

HOT LUNCH INFORMATION
Hot lunch Wednesdays are back! The first day of service will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
An information sheet and order form went home today with your eldest child. Can’t find the forms? Please click HERE to access the letter explaining our Hot Lunch program and HEREfor the Boston Pizza Term 1 order form.
Please note: that all portion sizes for our Hot Lunch meals are determined by the vendors and although we try to ask for as much food as possible to cover all sizes of appetites, an extra snack may be needed if your child has a healthy appetite! Thank you!
GYM BAGS FOR SALE
The school has gym bags available for purchase for $4.00. If you are interested in purchasing one for your child(ren) please send money in an envelope to the office labelled with your child’s name and grade. Thank you.
